Our Story

YOGADOO was started in 2015 by Qualified UK Yoga Alliance and RKY Yoga Instructor, Lucy Aston. Lucy has been practicing Yoga for 20 years, firstly as relaxation whilst studying for a Law degree at University.

Since becoming a mother in 2008, Lucy has practised Yoga at home with her son and has seen the benefits first hand for improving posture and concentration, building strength and body confidence and helping with relaxation and sleep - and not to mention being great fun!

People often think Yoga is something only ultra-bendy folk can practise after decades of training. YOGADOO is different. YOGADOO is accessible. YOGADOO is real. YOGADOO is for everyone. We encourage children and young people to practise yoga and mindfulness whilst having fun, and feel the benefits even after the first session.
— Lucy Aston, Founder of YOGADOO

Lucy trained to become a children's yoga teacher after having a passion for yoga for over twenty years. She subsequently qualified as an yoga and meditation teacher after training at Kranti Yoga in Goa, India. Lucy is also a paediatric First Aider, DBS registered and has completed the Safeguarding Children course .

YOGADOO runs classes for children and young people aged 1-16 as well as adults.

Lucy is passionate about YOGADOO's ethos which is making Yoga accessible for everyone. Do Yoga, YOGADOO. Yoga is for anybody, whatever their age, experience or build. Yoga is for life.
